Sweet n' Spicy Beef Brisket Jerky

I was lucky enough to spot the sticker-adorned shack while driving through the barren desert in Olancha. The large hand-painted sign saying "FRESH JERKY" and overall novelty of the place drew us into making a quick stop to check it out and my life hasn't been the same since. The sweet and spicy is my favorite, but I also love the hot and brisket flavors (and every other one really). The texture and consistency is perfect. It is chewy, as expected, but it is also soft like butter at the same time. It has been 5+ years since I found Gus's and I am drawn to their website to order a stockpile at least twice a year every year since. If I had infinite money then I would just have a recurring subscription order every month. Gus is a real G. ALSO, GET THE PEANUT BRITTLE! UNBELIEVABLE!

Very tender. Just enough kick without burning your mouth. A little pricey. Makes a great treat for a road trip.

Honestly I’ve been buying this jerky for years!! I live in Florida now and found Gus jerky in golden valley next to my cousins house! Grabbed a card with the web site and ordered more when I got home! It’s a little pricey but we’ll worth every penny! Need some discounts that would be great! I will definitely be buying more

The best jerky on this side of the Mississippi, (and the other side) will always be my favorite jerky so tender and not dry, with great flavor.

Gus's fresh jerky is the absolute best jerky I have ever eaten. My favorites are the teriyaki and the sweet and spicy. They use brisket, so it is not tough like other jerky. It is always amazing.
